In between making school lunches, driving my children to activities and snuggling in front of the TV with my handsome husband, I enjoy writing kinky and romantic queer erotic fiction.
My three full-length novels comprising The James Lucas Trilogy – Beyond the Edge, The Cross and the Trinity, and A Numinous Light – are available to purchase in print and ebook. This series follows the lives of three men drawn together by a mutual enjoyment of BDSM play and an undeniable attraction to each other. Beyond the Edge received an Honorable Mention in the Pauline Réage Novel Award category of the NLA-International Awards, which recognize excellence in writing and publishing about Leather, SM, bondage and fetishes.
The Loft Trilogy is a series of three novellas that detail the lives of James, Tate and Sebastian from The James Lucas Trilogy during the time period between events in The Cross and the Trinity and A Numinous Light.
I have also published two novellas, Exposure and The Crush, available in ebook format only. I have also written two very sexy short stories, Apartment 1209 and The Beach House, available to read for FREE.

Five Interesting Things About Me:
I have Multiple Sclerosis – Diagnosed in 2008, I have been living comfortably with MS for ten years. We seem to have an unspoken agreement – I take my daily medication and try to get as much rest and sleep as I need, exercise regularly, and maintain a positive attitude, and the disease remains tranquil and at bay. Fingers crossed this continues for a long time.
I am bisexual – Although not a huge fan of labels, I have come out as being bisexual over the past few years, because my writing is heavily informed by a belief that human sexuality runs on a continuum and that being completely straight or completely gay is the exception rather than the rule. I have always had sexual feelings for men and women.
I work in a pet store – In my first novel, Beyond the Edge, the character of Sebastian has a job as a sales associate in a pet store. And yes, I take this directly from my personal experience. It’s a job I enjoy and have a lot of experience with. Although I have an education that would afford me something that would pay much better, I love helping customers and talking about animals all day. The physical demands of the job seem to help me to stay fit and keep the MS at bay.
I have credentials – I obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Psychology from the University of Ottawa in 1992 and completed a diploma in Dramatic Scriptwriting from Algonquin College in 1997.
I will never win WIFE-OF-THE-YEAR or MOM-OF-THE-YEAR – My husband does all the cooking, grocery shopping and a lot of the cleaning, as well as working a full-time job that brings in the majority of our income. My parenting style is best described as holding on by a thread and trying to make the kids laugh so they don’t notice the bathrooms haven’t been cleaned in weeks while bombarding them with so much factual information pertaining to human sexuality they exist in a perpetual state of horrified embarrassment.
